The Summer Program provides structured art, recreation and enrichment activities for school-aged children. Volunteers assist and supervise the children during activities, lunch and recreation time. Volunteers are required and encouraged to have previous experience working with children. All volunteers need to pass a background check and are required to attend a volunteer training before the summer program begins.
This program is a partnership between the Community Caring Conference and the Church of Peace in Rock Island.
