If so first call the POLICE so they can track possible gang activity. Gang Graffiti distracts from your neighborhood and sends the wrong message about the area in which you live. Noticed any tennis shoes hanging over high wires? This is also a way that gangs mark their territory. If you see this, call the police and then call Community Caring Conference.

Residential and vehicles burglaries continue to be a problem in many neighborhoods. These are crimes of opportunity-unlocked doors and windows, poor lighting, and evidence of inactivity at a residence all invite burglars to your home. Don't become a victim of burglary, harden the target by locking doors and windows. Leave a light on when your gone at night. When on vacation have someone collect your mail and paper, and place a light on a timer. These are simple precautions that can save you the pain of being a victim.
Lastly, if your not organized in your neighborhood call CCC to organize a blockclub. Blockclubs and Neighborhood Watch are proven methods of preventing crime. Make that effort now and call a neighborhood organizer at 309-786-0345!
