Victims Get Help

Because of state-wide budget cuts to social service and not-for-profit agencies, some 20 reps from 13 such agencies met at CCC last November. They had a brain-storming session on how to deal with the cuts, and shared information about personnel and program changes. CCC and Family Resources partnered on hosting the event. In November, Friends For Victims contacted 153 crime victims, and made 59 phone contacts. In December: 162 crime victims, 109 phone contacts.
