Rock the River Tour Street Neighborhood Sweep

Community Caring Conference, the Martin Luther King Center and Keep Rock Island Beautiful are participating in Rock the River Tour Street Neighborhood Sweep, a Quad City Community Action Project which will occur in Rock Island July 11th and July 18th. Various seniors have been identified by these organizations to have work conducted on the exterior of their homes to include; front porch repairs, refuse/debris/ collection, painting, and lawn care. Some 100 youth will volunteer all day until each task is completed. This Quad City intiative is sponsored by the Billy Graham Association.
