Recently, Executive Director Connie Hayes accepted an $800 check from Community Foundation Executive Director Laura Dunn at the Botanical Center. The Rock Island Community Foundation awarded $85,360.51 to 51 community organizations including Community Caring Conference. CCC will use the award to purchase window decals and house numbers for its Neighborhood/Business Watch program. According to Rock Island city code,
homes are required to have address numerals in a visible location on homes so emergency vehicles can see them.
