How to beat criminals!

One way to gain strength in numbers is by joining neighbors at our annual Night Out Against Crime 4-7 p.m. Monday Aug. 3rd at Longview Park.  Since Tuesday is the first full day of school in Rock Island, we are hoping for a big turnout the night before.

We will meet at the upper shelter along 18th Avenue with games, police demonstrations, and plenty of information on how to live in a cleaner, safer neighborhood.  You will also hear the (somewhat funny) story of how a grandmother finally beat the bad, noisy neighbors.  Oh, and Free food and drinks will be available as well.
